Sunday Lunch on Tokyo's popular mountain, Takaosan October 2015

Takaosan is Tokyo's own mountain and seemed very popular with walkers of all ages .

You can take the cable railway half way up then follow a selection of trails to the summit.

You pass through a temple on the way to the top. It rained in the morning but the sun was out for lunchtime making for some wonderful misty views.
